When your friend becomes a mother...

...IT TRULY IS A BEAUTIFUL SIGHT!

It was a cold day in November and I was on my way back from New York when I got a text from Nicole. She and Evan were expecting their first baby and she wanted me to photograph them at their home once they were settled in. I was so excited about photographing the Ersing family! It was not only great catching up with an old friend, but also wonderful seeing Nicole blossoming into her role as a new mother. These days I really enjoy photographing families and especially meeting cute and cuddly babies.

Emery Grace Ersing is a real doll and she was fully awake during the wholes session. She is all kinds of adorable and quite a natural little poser.

I loved taking pictures at their home. Nicole and Evan are both such warm and kind people. The moment I walked into their house I felt at home. Some of my favorite pictures and memories of the day were when Evan and Nicole would just "be" with Emery. Evan is so in love with his baby girl and she surely has him wrapped around her little finger.

Even though it was a cold day in December their home was filled with natural light and we were able to create some beautiful pictures.
